PREACHER OPPOSES GAY RIGHTS?
In August of this year, the Springfield, MO City Council held a public hearing to consider amending the city’s nondiscrimination ordinance to include sexual orientation and gender identity protections.
Rev. Phil Snider of the Brentwood Christian Church in Springfield took to the podium and, using an all too familiar argument, lashed out at the council for “inviting the judgement of God upon our land” by making “special rights for gays and lesbians.”
Rev. Snider invoked the bible, challenged the council’s thoughts on morality and even reminded everyone that we may be in the end of days and needing to do “God’s will” — then all of a sudden he lost his train of thought, stumbled, then shocked and amazed everyone in attendance with what happened next.

WOW!!!
Now THAT'S how you fight *the Good* fight.
DJ, you've struck GOLD with this video. Thanks so much for sharing it!
Simply. Incredible.
And I wanted to add….
I wish that every hateful and hypocritical Black-American preacher who opposes Equal Rights for LGBTs could see this video.
WHOA!!!! Ok you got me DJ. TOTALLY wasn't expecting that one. This guys words are on point though. Some of the same arguments against gays are the same ones they used for segregation. Good wake up call.
Please don't judge Christianity based on what one or two people say. The Bible tells Christians to love all people just as God loves all people. It also says all people are sinners and that if you're guilty of one sin, you're guilty of all sins. Yes God hates sin, but God does not hate the people who sin. Yes God wants people to stop sinning, but God does not expect us to be perfect either. A lot of Christians get hung up on the sin of being gay and forget about all of their own sins… lying, lust, cheating, theft, and sometimes just being bad people amongst other things. Instead of showing outward love towards all other people no matter who they are or what they've done, a lot of Christians like to pretend like other people's sins are worse then their own because it makes them feel better about their own sins. Christians aren't perfect though, I know I'm not.
