TIGER’S TROUBLES

Spread The Love
After weeks of floating several trial balloons, including everything from remaining silent to carefully crafted statements designed to dodge the reality around him, Tiger Woods has finally come clean.

Late Friday evening, Woods dropped a bomb on his website with a personal statement, ditching the vague term “transgressions” and finally admitting to “infidelity” within his marriage.  This, after his attorney’s were reportedly forced to get a court order to stop the publication of supposed nude photos and video of the pro golfer in some rather compromising positions.  These photos, along with a damming voicemail message he left for one woman, combined with a  countless string of females coming forward with sordid details of their trysts, were apparently too much for Woods to continue to dodge with silence.  So, Tiger released this statement via his website to acknowledge his marital infidelity — and to announce he is quitting golf indefinitely to focus on his personal woes:

I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I’ve done, but I want to do my best to try.
I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding. What’s most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing.
After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.
Again, I ask for privacy for my family and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period.

This must be the biggest fall in all of sports history! In a way I feel sorry for him. But he brought all this on himself. Too bad for his wife and family.

With sponsors dropping him, this story will linger awhile longer_the media will see to it..smh.But the truth is, I'm tempted to believe that Tiger might have deliberately self-destructed. IMO, his "actions" certainly point to that possibility.I'm no fan of Tiger. But I think he may have gotten worn out by GOLF (he's been playing almost since BIRTH), and his exceptional skills to play the game which led to untold FAME and Fortune and all kinds of MADNESS that comes with it_it just became too much for him!Having already achieved what he's achieved_PERHAPS he simply wanted OUT of everything (including his marriage?) so he kept on engaging in various forms of extremely WRECKLESS "activities" to end it(????) Just a thought.

Your crazy Truthis!Tiger Woods did'nt need to risk millions of dollars just to quit golf. If he didn't wanna play anymore he could have quit. No need to embarass himself and his family for nothing. He just f*cked up is all.

@Anon:Umm…NOooo I'm not "crazy."And I'll simply let my comments stand.

Look I think the world should leave Tiger alone…we all do stupid things and expect people to forgive…OK..he messed up…but that's his life and I truly feel that he made that bed and now he's lying in it…When it's all said and done he'll come out just fine…Other celeb's have done worse and have come thru with flying colors….He just has to wait it out for a while..We have a way of forgetting and he'll be right back on top again.I wanna Thank Ya….
